First of all, reading the answers to this question bothers me a lot. There are kids, half my age (NEARLY), saying they'd pick Edward Cullen. GODS, that dude is abusive, obsessive and excessively jealous, and these children would date him? No one, I repeat, no one with a healthy sense of self would date that kind of a person. I feel sorry for you today, humanity. I do.

Now to the characters I'd date. There will be many, lots of whom probably even more abusive, obsessive and jealous than Edward, but that's called hypocrisy, children, and we all do that, and we're allowed to do that.

From Harry Potter books, the following guys:
1. Young Severus Snape. The old would be kind of cool, too. I've written about him at least a billion of times, so I'll just say he's my kind of guy, and that I do believe we'd get along. I'M NOT A DUNDERHEAD!
2. Lucius Malfoy. Young or old, I don't care, but just... damn. I'm glad I'm not against one-night stands, because with this guy that's all I want. A serious relationship with someone like that, no-no, but... Yeah.
3. Sirius Black, even though I kind of feel bad for doing this because, obviously, he's Remus'. BUT I can say this now, right? Right? He's dead, anyway. (Of course I could say I'd date Remus, too, but I have a feeling that he'd be more of a friend for me.)
4. Aaaand the younger Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. Just because.

Others:
5. Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the young one, thank you. That kind of a cold intelligence just makes me shiver. An excessively polite man who won't hurt the feelings of another person, even when he's killing him. Also, Gaspard Ulliel played the young Hannibal in Hannibal Rising = purrrrect looks, too.
6. John Nash from A Beautiful Mind. Don't say anything about his schizophrenia or anything like that. His pick-up lines would work perfectly on me, and he reminds me of myself sooooo much.
7. MOST OF ALL, MOST OF ALL, MOST OF ALL: Voldemort from A Very Potter Musical. (MY MOODTHEME. CHECK IT. MOOOODTHEME.)

...I'm too tired to write anything about the rest, but here, have a list, and feel free to ask if you can't understand why on Earth I picked the particular character: Aragorn (LOTR), Calvin (Zero Day), V (V for Vendetta), Graverobber (Repo! The Genetic Opera)... and that's pretty much it.

I somewhat do believe in horoscopes and astrology. I don't think they shape our fortunes or anything like that, I merely think they affect our personalities and characteristics. I do read my horoscope at least once a week, but that's it -- I laugh if it fits, and shrug it off if it doesn't.

I am a Capricorn: practical, prudent, ambitious, disciplined, patient, careful, reserved, pessimistic, fatalistic, miserly, grudging.
" - - confident, strong willed and calm. These hardworking, unemotional, shrewd, practical, responsible, persevering, and cautious to the extreme persons, are capable of persisting for as long as is necessary to accomplish a goal they have set for themselves." I am way too unemotional, they say. I drag too much logic into, say, relationships. I tend to rationalize and over-analyze everything.
" - - resourceful, determined managers; setting high standards for themselves and others. They strive always for honesty in their criticism of self, they respect discipline from above and demand it from those beneath them." I am known for my honest remarks, too honest, some say. I try not to lie to myself, and too often it leads to complete self-bashing. I am a perfectionist, and I strongly believe that what is worth doing is worth doing well.
" - - plan carefully to fulfill their ambitions - - " I always have a plan going on. A cunning plan, mind you.
" - - they are not always the most pleasant of work fellows for they are reserved and too conservative, valuing tradition more than innovation, however valuable the latter, and they are often humorless. There is also a tendency to pessimism, melancholy and even unhappiness." Though I am quite innovative and creative, I respect and value tradition a lot, too.
" - - can be surprisingly and suddenly witty and subtle for the quiet, reserved individuals they seem to be, and they also have a tendency to ruin things by unexpected and utterly irresponsible bouts of flippancy." Oh. Yes.
"Their intellects are sometimes very subtle. They think profoundly and deeply, throughly exploring all possibilities before deciding on a 'safe' alternative. They have good memories and an insatiable yet methodical desire for knowledge. They are rational, logical and clearheaded, have good concentration, delight in debate in which they can show off their cleverness by luring their adversaries into traps and confounding them with logic."
" - - somewhat self-centered but not excessively so, wary and cautious around people they do not know very well, preferring not to meddle with others and in turn not to allow interference with themselves, thus they tend to attract people who do not understand them." I do, however, think that I am excessively self-centered. I am introverted, too.
" - - faithful, though inclined to jealousy. Most Capricorns marry for life." I have never cheated in a relationship, but I usually am way too jealous to be happy. I never date for the mere sake of dating. To be with someone - for me, the entire point of that is to be prepared and willing to spend the rest of my life with that person. I am willing to work hard in order to achieve that, but on the other hand, I find it nearly impossible to become something I'm not. That's not the path I'm willing to take. It is an entirely different matter to work hard and to change self.

All my real idols have thus far been Capricorns - Jonathan Davis, Marilyn Manson and J.R.R. Tolkien.
My favorite character in the HP fandom is a Capricorn. I felt a connection to the character even before I knew his sign. (I'm talking about Snape.)
I get along with other Capricorns, better than with other signs.

Once again, I'm going to say Jari. Some of you might know how much I value intelligence, and I believe he's one of the most intelligent men I've ever met. He's a priest, though he says he's too profane to be called a priest. He has fought with all Christian authorities of Finland because he questions too many things about the Bible, like the existence of Satan. He also questions evolution and feminism.

Also, as I've been through some bad shit in high school, his subjects have been the ones to inspire me. When I failed nearly all other subjects, I got A+'s in his subjects. He's a demanding teacher, yet not too much - he's a creative person, and you are never forced to do the exam. You can always write an essay on something you know a lot about.

You know, you're taught to question everything. They just say you should do it, but they never let you do it or give any advice about it. Except Jari. He's really taught me to question things, and I do believe that if it wasn't for him I wouldn't enjoy questioning myself so much.
If it wasn't for him, I'd be a diehard antitheist like I was back when I went to high school. Two years have come and gone and I've learned so much from him.

I need to reveal my shallowness, but before I went to high school my view of Christianity was black and white. The only ones I'd met had been either Laestadians or Sunday Lutherans (meaning, the religion doesn't affect their lives, they just go to church every once in a while and say they're Lutherans) and all the priests I had met had been these fundamentalistic-preaching-holier-than-thou folk, and then there was him.
"O HAI, I AM JARI. I AM A PRIEST. I DON'T BELIEVE IN SATAN. ONCE I MET A GUY WHO HAD FLIES UNDERNEATH HIS FORESKIN. HE GIGGLED AND SAID IT FELT NICE. IF THEY BAN GUNS I'LL NEED A GOD DAMN CANNON TO SHOOT BIGGER RODENTS. SOMETIMES I'D JUST WANT TO HIT A STUDENT WITH AN AXE OR A CHAINSAW. THAT IS, IF THEY'RE STUPID. WHEN THEY'RE STUPID. THIS SONG IS A GREAT SONG TO MAKE LOVE TO, YOU KNOW? WE REALLY SHOULD COMMUNICATE BY FARTING. A MURDER OF OSTRICHES MIGHT FLY INTO YOUR CAR IF YOU BROKE THE WINDSHIELD. WINGS FLAPPING EVERYWHERE. YOU WOULDN'T SEE SHIT, NOW WOULD YOU? LINGONBERRIES TURN ME ON. LIKE, REEEEEALLY. HOW WAS YOUR DAY?"

He's a freak, but he's also my idol, and he's an amazing person, hahahha.

Nuff said.

(And no, contrary to popular belief, I do not fancy him.)
